Novice Training Ground is the first place that new player will appear in the game. The castle where Training Ground is located can be seen after crossing a drawbridge written with ¡§Welcome¡¨. There¡¦re 4 options when player speak to [Registration Staff] NPC, whereby player can choose to start the game immediately or register for the Academy Training. New player is highly recommended to register for the Academy Training, as this training will provide instructions on basic operations, regulations of the game. In addition, this training has a practical training ground with Fabre (with rather weak attack skill) scattering all around, this is to prevent players from getting kill by higher level monsters and increase player¡¦s attacking skill (Atk) before entering the actual Ragnarok¡¦s world.
Please be reminded that advice from Novice Training Ground Staff is very important, pay attention to his advice in order to receive items that are able to increase HP. These items are very useful in the earlier stages of the game!

After crossing Fabre Forest successfully, player will be awaited by 4 helpers in the castle to undergo psychology tests that help players to have better understanding about their personalities and hence allowing them to choose the most suitable job.
The last helper will ask if player will choose his/her own path or player will follow his recommendation.

[I will choose my own path]: 6 jobs will be listed out for the player to choose. If the player decides to be an Archer, then the birth place of this player will be Archer village which located beside Payon. Players can start their jobs immediately if they have sufficient Job Lv.

 [I will follow your recommendation]: Players will be sent to the working location that has been decided according to result of the psychology test. For instance, result of the test indicates that this player is most suitable to be a Swordman hence Prontera will be the birth place of this particular player!
